PILI Alumni Reunion Reception

PILI is thrilled to announce that it will be holding its first annual PILI Alumni Reunion Reception on Thursday, September 30 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at theWit Hotel. The newest component of the PILI Alumni Program, the Alumni Reunion Reception will bring together current and former PILI Interns and Fellows for an exciting social event. Help us celebrate over 30 successful years of the PILI Internship and Fellowship Programs with drinks, appetizers, and great company. Whether you are a former PILI Intern or Fellow or simply a supporter of PILI and its mission—a staple of the Chicago legal community—we certainly hope you can join us.

As a public interest law professional or a legal professional with a strong relationship to pro bono work, you understand first-hand the importance of building a solid network committed to providing legal services to the poor and under-represented. As a legal community we need all hands on deck to continue striving to make equal access to justice a reality to all. An individual sponsorship ticket shows your commitment to the next generation of public interest law professionals through your support of PILI’s Alumni Program.

PILI’s Alumni Program is undergoing enhancements to better cultivate a lifelong commitment to public interest law—and it needs your help. In the upcoming year, PILI seeks to create at least one additional summer Internship experience funded entirely with the support of alumni of its Internship and Fellowship Programs. Our initial fundraising goal is $5,500 for the PILI Alumni Internship Fund, which will at once provide a law student with an unparalleled service and educational opportunity, and the residents of Illinois with an additional 400 hours of legal service.

Please consider contributing to the success of this endeavor by purchasing a partially tax-deductible Sponsorship Ticket for the PILI Alumni Reunion Reception. Your generosity will be recognized at the PILI Alumni Reunion Reception and you will be listed as a donor on PILI’s Annual Report. Purchase of an individual sponsorship ticket further helps PILI keep admission costs affordable so that current Interns and Fellows, as well as new associates may also attend.
